Maryland’s Vision for Responsible AI

The State’s Department of Information Technology (DoIT) publishes policies, governance cards, and other guidance for state employees to use AI in ways that benefit their work and outcomes for Marylanders.

DoIT provides these as living resources that guide state employees in their use of AI as part of their roles. The agency knows that AI evolves quickly and updates them as needed to keep their guidance current.
